Floridian Clinical Research partners with local and central laboratories to service all laboratory needs for our clinical trials. Our on-site, state-of-the-art laboratories offer a full suite of laboratory services from pick-up to electronic reporting. Laboratory is furnished with the most advanced equipment and instruments, guaranteeing the highest level of accuracy and reliability. We can guarantee same-day turnaround. A certified Clinical Laboratory Director supervises all procedures, and a third-party quality management and audit process provides independent oversight, quality control, and adherence to the strictest standards of safety and compliance.

Floridian Clinical Research is fully qualified with CLIA and state licensure with an on-site peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) Laboratory. A certified Clinical Laboratory Director supervises all procedures and ensures adherence to globally accepted standards procedures..

  • Our extensive lab network ensures that blood samples are routinely delivered and processed within 8 hours or less of collection yielding excellent recovery and viability
  • We offer processing peripheral blood collected on a variety tube types such as Cell Preparation Tube (CPT), Sodium Heparin, Sodium Citrate and Acid Citrate Dextrose (ACD) tubes.
  • PBMC are obtained from whole blood using Ficoll or Lymphoprep density gradient media.
  • Cells yield and viability are measured with a high-resolution fluorescence counter that provides fast and accurate cell counts.
  • Once isolated the PBMC are cryopreserved for stable long storage in liquid nitrogen.
  • All our processes are performed according to global Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) which can be accommodated to client request.
  • All our staff members are highly trained and participate regularly in global competency testing.
